TAL AWARDS 2020

The TAL Network recognizes and celebrates the work of television in Latin America with what has become the most important and prestigious awards in public television. Its director, Nicolás Schonfeld, together with our director, Carolina Sosa, devised a new category of the awards in 2020. It is called the "Accessibility Strategy Award" and it rewards the best accessibility and inclusion practices of the channels of public television in Latin America. At the 2020 awards, Carolina was a member of the category jury and the presenter of the award. This award is important because it works as an incentive for distribution channels and producers to make more inclusive and accessible content. In addition, it is an excellent way to find out what accessible practices are being developed in each country in order to learn from them.
