CINEMAFEST 2015

The 2nd edition of the CINEMAFEST Film Festival takes place in the city of San Luis Potosí, Mexico, from September 18th to the 27th, 2015. The National Council for Culture and the Arts (CONACULTA), and the 1896 AC Foundation, in a coordinated manner, propose to contribute positively to the development of culture and the film industry, by promoting artistic creation among the Mexican film community and opening the doors to international creators. With state support and large private companies, it is carried out in various parts of the city. In addition to showing films, it has facilities and events designed for the entire Mexican population, from samples adapted for blind and deaf people, to generating workshops for vulnerable or marginalized communities within San Luis Potosí. Okurelo collaborates with the organization for the second time, contributing Uruguayan films adapted by our team and providing advice. It is noteworthy the workshops for all audiences such as "Audio-description workshops: what the ear requires", "Film appreciation workshop for the deaf" and "Braille literacy workshop".
